KUWAIT: The Kuwait Digital Transformation Conference and the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) welcomed attendees on Wednesday to immersive sessions and panel discussions, with experts sharing insights on adopting smart and digital technologies in line with Kuwait Vision 2035 at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Resort & Spa.
While we agree that the government must maintain (and the public expects it to maintain) a level of control and oversight over the provisioning of infrastructure, the reality is that the pace of technological and social change has been faster than the pace of regulatory change.

The approach adopted here may provide insights into the fine structure of inter-linkages between two main divisions of the economy. The methodology is not proposed as a replacement for the more formal analysis of feedback effects. However, it also serves to trace the paths along which these feedbacks move from one set to the another and then ultimately back to the original source of change.
Four research centres provide strategic intelligence to the SCPD: the KPPC, the National Centre for Development Research, the National Knowledge Economy Centre, and the National Observatory of Sustainable Development and Future Studies. In Wang's talks with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah in Wuxi on Wednesday, China and Kuwait agreed to better align the Belt and Road Initiative with Kuwait's Vision 2035 project. They also agreed to strengthen cooperation in fields including agriculture, food security, new energy and 5G technology.
Xi emphasized that China supports Kuwait in implementing its Vision 2035 and is ready to strengthen the docking of development strategies between the two countries, actively participate in the construction of major projects of Kuwait, tap the potential of cooperation in new energy, 5G communication, digital economy and other fields, and support cultural exchanges and cooperation.

The sustainable living environment axis in Kuwait Vision 2035 includes five pillars, the most prominent of which is to provide housing care to citizens through what is planned to ensure the provision of 65.5 thousand housing units through five projects costing about KWD 3.22 billion (USD 10.5 billion), the last of which ends by 2029.
